The American Public Power Association awarded Guam Power Authority's (GPA) Assistant General Manager – Administration (AGMA) Beatrice “Tricee” P. Limtiaco, the prestigious Alan H. Richardson Statesmanship Award during the APPA’s National Conference on June 10, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana. APPA recognized 24 individuals and 9 utilities for service to the APPA and the public power industry.

Limtiaco, who has served in her AGMA role for 8 years, won the prestigious Alan H. Richardson Statesmanship Award, which recognizes public power leaders who work to achieve consensus on national issues important to public power utilities. APPA awarded two executives in this category for 2024: Limtiaco was also appointed as an officer to the Executive Committee of APPA and re-elected to her second three-year term on the APPA Board of Directors for Region 10.

John M. Benavente, P.E., General Manager at GPA applauded Limtiaco. He said, “It is always a proud moment when GPA wins awards at the APPA’s national conferences. Tricee’s award is a testament to her strong leadership at GPA and dedication to our customers. Tricee plays an important role on the APPA Executive Committee and proudly represents GPA and Guam.”
